March 2010: Trooper In The Line Of Fire

In a Effort to get to know our fellow Troopers, we put a Random Trooper Once a month in the Line of Fire, asking a Standard set of Questions. At the end of the Questions you will have the chance to ask any other questions that come to mind.




When did you see Star Wars in the theater for the first time and where?
I saw the SE-ANH in Oak Harbor at the 12 A.M. showing in 1997, it was a dream come true.

What is your favorite Star Wars movie?
I have to say ESB, cause we win! O YEAH!

What is your least favorite Star Wars movie?
E1, I only like it for Maul and the battles.

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
The arts, I love the arts from acting, dancing, music and of course art it self (even though i can't do it lol ).

What turns you off?
How we as people treat each other and how we treat the world and it's animals. As corny as it is, I just wish we could all work together.

What is your favorite curse word?
Sith spit haha.

What Star Wars Character do you love?
The Dark lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.

What Star Wars Character do you hate?
Give you a hint, his first name is said two times.

How did you first find out about Garrison Titan?
I saw the the Garrison on the news for a event and knew I had to join up! At the time Paul was the GML and helped me get started next thing i knew, I had all the open face uniforms and have worked on them to get them to look just right.

What drives you to stay trooping in the 501st Legion?
I love the Legion, it has been a part of my life and has helped me get over some hard stuff in life. Where ever you go you have a Garrison ready to help. When I'm asked "what I do for fun", I tell them that I'm part of a group called the 501st Legion, it's a charity group and they are like a second family to me, they are my bothers and sisters in arms. I keep trooping to help those who need help, to show kids that there favorite movie character is doing something good for people (even though all they say is for Darth Vader to choke me and they start clapping) and yes, because I have some much fun doing it.

What do you enjoy most about being part of Garrison Titan?
How close we all are. I have heard some hard story's out there from some Garrisons that they feel like just a number at times but here in this Garrison, we are like a family, we help each other when we are in need, we comfort each other when something hard or tragic happens to one another. We have a bond that all Garrison with they had and that makes me proud to be a trooper in the mighty Garrison Titan.

What Costume other than your own would you like to attempt?
I would really like to do clock work man from the first Hell Boy movie, the version though of him in the SS uniform, that outfit just looks killer haha.

What Costume would you not like to do?
I would have to say a Tela Tuby lol.

What would you like to hear George Lucas say when you arrive at the LucasFilm Gates?
Great your hear! I need you to help out on making the next 3 star wars films, you want to be in them? O! and you can live here and go where ever you like but I have one rule... You have to wear one of your uniforms where ever you go on the property lol.

You look awesome on costume. What advice would you give to people who want to look as good in soft costumes?

If you could achieve one thing this year for the Garrison, what would it be?

Favorite food?

Worst troop you ever did?

I would first say, take your time, don't rush it and two resarch it as much as you can, try to get as many ref pics as you can to see it in different lighting and such and three, bulid a contact with a seamstress or someone that knows one, it helps, trust me

To represent the Garrison as best PR Officer as a can be and try to get more people to join the ranks! but above all, troop! troop! troop! as much as I can to get to word out and try to lead by example.

I have never had a bad troop, I think you make the troop a good one or bad one. Make sure you come to a troop in a good mood, trust me the public knows if your having a good day or not
